Store Manager
Locations: Madison, Janesville, Rockford
Hours: Full-time
Essential Functions
- Responsible for ensuring operations control standards are met regarding the opening, closing and operating of the retail location, including but not limited to cash handling, cash over/short explanations, payment receipt and deposits.
- Oversees retail store inventory including a daily inventory count on cellular equipment and reports any discrepancies to Retail Sales Manager/District Manager.
- Responsible for return shipments to central warehouse per company guidelines.
- Performs duties related to maintaining clean and attractive stores that are merchandised to company standards.
- Responsible for ordering collateral and store supplies to ensure point-of-sale materials are available and properly displayed
- Responsible for reviewing daily sales activity for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist training department with scheduling new employee’s for New Hire Training. Assign and maintain a training schedule for all retail employees
- Identify and communicate areas of improvement regarding store operations.
- Achieves or surpasses individual and store sales targets for all cellular service and equipment.
- Provides floor coverage and assists Retail Sales Associate as needed during busy times or as required.
- Creates and maintains an efficient employee work schedule for one or more locations.
- Resolves any service problems for customers within the company policies and continuously assures the delivery of high levels of customer service.
- Supports sales and marketing events as directed.
- Oversees human resources and staffing practices to include upholding the company policies set forth in the employee handbook.
- Conduct monthly meetings with retail sales staff.
- Perform other tasks, duties or projects as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must have ability to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
- Required to work a minimum of 1 closing shift each week as well as 2 Saturdays every month.
- Must have flexibility to work at alternative locations upon request or as needed.
